Goal Activity Feed Filters

Overview

Our platform now offers enhanced filtering options for your feed post types. With filters such as "Updates & Posts," "Major Changes & Posts," and "All Activities," you can tailor your feed to show specific types of updates, offering a more streamlined experience.

Details

The following three filters are supported:

Updates & Posts

• Status Updates of Key Results, i.e. change of progress or confidence level of Key Results
• Status Updates of Initiatives, i.e. change of status of Initiatives
• Posts made by users

Major Changes & Posts

• Adding and removing Key Results
• Adding and removing Initiatives
• Adding and removing goal stakeholders
• Adding and removing goal alignments
• Changes made to the Goal and Key Results excluding changes to the title and description
• Changes made to an Initiative
• Posts made by users

All Activities

• Shows all activities, incl. changes made to Goal and Key Result titles and descriptions

The filter "Updates & Posts" will be active by default if the goal is selected. Otherwise, when the Goal is not activated yet, the filter "Major Changes & Posts" is selected.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What does the "Updates & Posts" filter show?
   The "Updates & Posts" filter displays key result status updates, initiative status updates, and general posts.

2. Will changes to a goal's title or description appear under "Major Changes & Posts"?
   No, "Major Changes & Posts" filter will not show updates that are solely based on changes to the goal’s title or description.

3. What does the "All Activities" filter display?
   The "All Activities" filter will display all feed entries without filtering out any type.

Troubleshooting

1. I can't see any updates in my feed. What should I do?
   Ensure that you have the correct filter option selected. If you're on "Major Changes & Posts", for instance, updates related only to the goal's title or description won't appear.

2. How do I revert to seeing all activities without any filters?
   Simply select the "All Activities" filter to view all feed entries without any exclusions.

3. I activated a goal, but I'm not seeing progress updates. Why?
   Ensure that the "Updates & Posts" filter is selected.
