💡In order to achieve a Goal and to communicate responsibilities transparently, it is important that all users who actively work on achieving the Goal are also registered as Collaborators.
In Workpath, there are 4 different types of collaborators for OKRs:
- The Owner is in charge of the overall OKR and in most cases accountable for its achievement, as well as the validity of the data that is part of this OKR. He/she coordinates roles, responsibilities and dependencies related to the OKR.
- Stakeholders are all users and teams who actively work on Initiatives and Key Results to achieve the Goal.
- The Coach is usually in charge of supporting the team, for example, from an OKR process standpoint or an OKR quality standpoint.
- Followers have the ability to be notified of changes made to the OKR but they are not responsible for its achievement.
Here's how you add/change the collaborators tied to an OKR:
- Enter the Goal Room by clicking on the respective Goal on your For Me Page.
- Scroll down and click on the pencil icon on the right-hand side next to Collaborators.
- Here you can change the Owner of the OKR. Please note that the OKR owner can only be changed by the current owner, the Coach of the team or an Admin.
-
To add a user or team as a Stakeholder, click on Add Stakeholder, then search for the user or team, and select them from the search results by clicking the mouse or using the arrow and enter keys.
To remove an existing Stakeholder, click on the small cross next to the Stakeholder. Certain Stakeholders, such as Owners of Key Results or Initiatives, cannot be removed. First remove them there as Owners and then try again. -
The Coaches that are assigned to a team can only be changed in the team settings.
-
To add a user or team as a Follower, click Add Follower, then search for the user or team, and select them from the search results. To remove an existing Follower, click the small cross next to the Follower.
