Overview
The Drilldown (Data Grid) is Workpath’s central view to understand your goal structure and alignment at a glance. It shows how Objectives, Key Results, and Initiatives are connected. By expanding the hierarchy step by step, you can quickly see where progress is happening and where execution is getting stuck.
The Drilldown is available across multiple parts of Workpath, such as the Team page, Conversations, and the Strategy Hub, so you can use the same logic wherever you steer execution.
ℹ️ Coming soon: The Drilldown will also include Strategic Elements and KPIs, so you can follow the full impact chain end-to-end.
What you can see in the Drilldown
In the Data Grid, you can track:
🎯 How Objectives contribute to each other
📏 Which Key Results are linked to which Objectives
🎯 Which lower-level Objectives contribute
✅ Which Initiatives sit underneath
Use the small arrow on the left side to expand one level at a time and follow the complete structure from top to bottom.
You can also see the status or progress of each element directly in the grid. This helps you spot what’s on track and what needs attention.

Typical use case: Identify and solve issues fast
The Drilldown supports a clear workflow for steering execution. Especially on the organization level, you can:
Spot an Objective that is off track.
Expand the hierarchy to identify the Key Result that isn’t progressing.
Drill further down to see whether lower-level Objectives or Initiatives are blocked.
Open Notes to review risks, decisions, or impediments and comment directly in context.
Use the AI button to summarize context or suggest next steps.
This creates a consistent flow from “Where is it red?” to “Why?” to “What do we do next?”. Without switching tools.
