You can now link Key Results to other Key Results in Workpath. This lets you roll up progress automatically from supporting Key Results to a higher-level Key Result — and pinpoint exactly which Key Results are causing a top-level result to fall behind.
🔗 What this feature does
Linking Key Results unlocks two capabilities:
- Automatic progress calculation — A high-level Key Result can pull its value directly from the Key Results that support it. Set it up once and progress updates flow automatically, just like the Power BI and Excel integrations.
- Root cause drill-down in the Datagrid — Linked Key Results appear as sub-rows beneath the parent Key Result. When a top-level result goes off-track, you can see immediately which supporting Key Results are contributing to the gap — and check their notes for risks, blockers, and decisions without leaving the page.
🚀 How to get started
- Open the Key Result you want to set up as a rollup Key Result.
- Click Edit to open the edit drawer.
- Select Linked Key Results as the progress source.
- Choose the supporting Key Results you want to link.
- Save — progress will now update automatically.

How is progress calculated?

Can I still update the parent Key Result manually?
Once linked Key Results are set as the progress source, the value updates automatically. To switch back to manual input, remove the linked Key Results in the edit drawer.
