The audit log export gives admins a self-serve security trail: choose a time window, and Workpath emails you a download link to your account's audit log. It covers the security-relevant "who did what" — logins, role changes, provisioning, and more — so your security and compliance teams can pull the record themselves instead of requesting it from Workpath.
Note: This feature is being rolled out gradually. If you do not see it yet, it may not be enabled for your account.
Who can use it
Only admins can request an audit log export. The log is scoped to your own account.
How to export your audit log
- Go to Settings → Organization → Security → Audit logs.
- Choose the time window you want to export: the last 7, 30, 180, or 365 days.
- Request the export. Workpath generates the file in the background and emails you a download link when it's ready.
The download is a ZIP file containing the same log in two formats — CSV and Excel (XLSX) — so you can open it directly or feed it into another tool. Each entry includes the timestamp, the event, who performed it, the affected user or resource, and a short description.
What the log covers
The export includes the security-relevant events below. Routine product activity (editing Goals, updating progress, and so on) is deliberately excluded.
| Category | What's captured |
|---|---|
| Authentication & sessions | Successful logins and logouts, failed logins (including SAML and Google sign-in), session terminations, account lock and unlock, and password resets, expiry, and reset requests. |
| Impersonation | When a Workpath admin or support user impersonates one of your users, and when that session ends — including who impersonated whom, and when. |
| Roles & privileges | Granting and revoking elevated roles: Super Admin, Program Lead, Coach, Analyst, and AI Market Analyst. |
| User lifecycle | User deactivation and reactivation. |
| Provisioning | User invitations, registrations, and email confirmations, plus user provisioning and sync driven by SAML and SCIM. |
| API access | Creation of API clients. |
