Difference between Organizational and Team Goals
Organizational Goals describe the top-level strategy goals in your organization and are commonly drafted by the top-leadership team.
Team Goals are usually drafted by the respective teams themselves. They cover priorities that tie in with the organizational strategy as well as the teams' individual focus topics.
How to create an Organizational Goal
ℹ️ All users expect Viewers can add an Organizational Goal, but usually this is only done by the leadership team.
- Go to the Organization Page via the navigation
- Click on Add Goal

In Workpath, there are two ways to add a Goal:
- Adding a Goal from the database
- Creating a new Goal manually
- To create a Goal manually, enter a title
- Make sure that the Level is set to Organization
- Optionally, further add to the Goal with
- Description to provide more context for others
- Goal Labels to indicating a certain type of Goal or have the possibility to filter Goals later
- Check the start and end date adjust them if needed
- Choose a progress and confidence level calculation
- Click Save
💡 Goals are marked as draft by default. If you want to activate your Goal right away, you can uncheck the draft box before saving the Goal. If you want to activate the Goal later, you can learn here how to do that.
How to create a Team Goal
ℹ️ Only Admins, Program Lead, Coach, Team Lead and Team Members can add Team Goals.
- Go to either the For Me Page or the Team Page via the navigation
- Click on Add Goal

Private Goals
You can also create Private Goals by checking the Private Goal box. This way only the collaborators can see the Goal as well as its progress and status. You can change the visibility from Public to Private in advance options in the Drafting Module.
Adding Key Results and Initiative
