Metrics in this report
Top-Level OKR Overview
The following metrics give the aggregations to monitor the organization's performance at a glance for the selected cycle, which can be compared with an earlier cycle selected:
- Overall progress of OKRs shows the average progress for the goals selected for the cycle/team from the filter
- Overall confidence level shows the average confidence level for the goals selected for the cycle/team from the filter
- Total OKRs mentions the total active OKRs
- Teams with OKRs mentions the total count of teams with at least one active OKR in the selected cycle
OKR Process
Healthy development of progress through the cycles can only be triggered by the healthy development of the OKR process in your organization. The OKR Process Dashboard allows:
- to track the overall health metrics at a glance regarding Drafting, Alignment and Execution. This can be further compared with the metric's value for an earlier cycle selected in the 'Compare with' filter above.
- to know the metrics that have the greatest positive and negative impact on the individual health metrics.
- to identify possible weaknesses or unharnessed opportunities. For each health metric, you can see recommendations to make it easier for you to interpret what potential actions you can take to improve these metrics.
OKR Process Details
The details page compares the health metrics over cycles. It gives further deep dive to all the health metrics which are based on different factors that are divided into the three tabs.
-
Drafting Score for Plan phase
The drafting score is calculated based on six drafting factors that are usually good predictors of OKR success. These are (1) the share of teams with OKRs, (2) the share of OKRs with concise but explanatory statement (less than 150 characters), (3) the share of OKRs with appropriate number (2-5) of Key Results, (4) the share of Key results with an Owner assigned, (5) the share of metric Key Results, and lastly (6) the share of active OKRs. -
Alignment Score for Align phase
The alignment score is calculated based on three alignment factors that are usually good indicators for organization operating as a unit with active inter-team collaboration. These are (1) the share of OKRs aligned to other OKRs, (2) the share of Team OKRs contributing to Organization OKRs, and (3) the share of teams collaborating with other teams -
Engagement Score for Execute phase
The engagement score is calculated based on two engagement factors that point towards active participation in the OKR methodology. These are (1) the share of OKRs updated at least once in two weeks, and (2) the weekly team engagement.
