Analytics Suite download options

While the Analytics Suite reports cover very important metrics, we understand the need of customers reporting these metrics periodically or even having review around them.

Since Workpath uses Tableau as the visualization tool, the download option of Tableau can be used to use the Analytics report provided for reviewing purposes.

Selecting the download icon on top right, asks you to select the format of download:

1. Image: this format produces a high quality PNG file. 
2. PDF/ PowerPoint: this is a versatile option that can include both visualizations and data. It provides a static snapshot of your work in a widely accessible and printable format.
3. Crosstab: backend data as an Excel or csv for further data exploration

Specifically for PDF, you can customize the layout and appearance of the downloaded or exported content to suit your specific needs.

Selecting the PDF as download format, a dialog box appears with options of  'Include', 'Scaling', 'Page Size', and 'Orientation', which are related to customizing the layout and appearance of the exported or downloaded content. Here's a description of each option:

1. Include: this option provides flexibility in exporting or downloading specific sheets, but they differ in terms of the scope of selection.
   1. • "Specific Sheets from this Dashboard" focuses on a single visual chart or metrics within the current dashboard, while
      • "Specific Sheets from this Workbook" allows you to choose the entire single page view within the workbook which contains multiple visual charts and metrics.
      • Lastly, "This View" option lets you export the currently active view being visible to you on the screen, without having to know the name.

2. Scaling:

• The 'scaling' option allows you to adjust the scale or size of the content being downloaded or exported
• Scaling can be set to 'Automatic' or a specific percentage value
• 'Automatic' scaling adjusts the content to fit the page size while maintaining the original proportions

3. Page Size

• The 'page size' option allows you to select the dimensions of the page for the downloaded or exported content
• You can choose from various pre-defined page sizes such as Letter, Legal, A4, etc., or set a custom size
• ‘Unspecified’ size adjusts the entire exported content to fit well on the full page length

4. Orientation

• The 'orientation' option determines the orientation or layout of the page for the downloaded or exported content.
• 'Portrait' orientation sets the page vertically, with the height being greater than the width.
• 'Landscape' orientation sets the page horizontally, with the width being greater than the height.

By adjusting the scaling, page size, and orientation options, you can customize the layout and appearance of the downloaded or exported content to suit your specific needs. These options give you control over the size, proportions, and orientation of the output, allowing you to create visually appealing and easily accessible representations of your data.
